Rotary District Governor Pooja Singla Joins RCoMH for Breakfast!

The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor (RCoMH) warmly welcomed Pooja Singla, newly elected 111th Rotary District Governor, during its Tuesday, September 9, breakfast meeting.
She began her remarks by congratulating the RCoMH on its 29th birthday as a club and Amy Hart as the club’s new board president.
Based upon Rotary International’s 2025-26 goals under the leadership of its president, Francesco Arezzo, Singla highlighted impact, reachengagement, and adaptation as challenges for the RCoMH to meet as it plans its own initiatives during the year.
She also applauded our club for its recent actions and accomplishments: its donation of a refrigerator to the Marblehead Food Pantry; involvement in service projects with ElderAct; once again welcoming students from Ireland to its Friends Forever day in Marblehead; our contributions to international Rotary efforts; and our involvement in Town initiatives, including community clean-ups, youth projects, RYE and the Interact Club, and our generous awards and scholarships to college-bound local students.
Singla also offered constructive guidance, urging the club to expand its membership and take advantage of Rotary’s grants programs and District committees to help to enhance its public image and involvement.
She also recommended greater showcasing of our projects in the District’s weekly eBulletin, on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. She noted that International Polio Day will be October 24, 2025, and urged the club to create activities based on the District’s theme, Spring Into Action for Polio, and schedule these for March 21, 2026, the day Rotary clubs in the District will honor Polio Day.
