This Week's Guest Speaker

Sheryl Perlow
Wicked Awesome Brownies
Sheryl Perlow is a local business woman, with a fascinating story to tell.
After working dozens of jobs, she started a brownie business from her home
and has made a real success of it!
If you have been thinking about starting your own business or
if you know someone who is thinking about this,
please invite them to join us this Tuesday.

Club News & Announcements

"Bring 2 on Tuesday"
Continues!

When you do your food shopping, please consider purchasing
2 additional non-perishable food items to donate to the Food Pantry
this Tuesdayand receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a surprise at the last meeting of this month -- May 30.

Even though we just did the USPS Food Drive,
Judy Salisbury observed that donations overall were down
and by 2 p.m. it looked like many people had
"shopped their own cabinet shelves" resulting in
many donated items being "expired" or beyond their "best by" dates.

Our help is still needed.
Thank you for anything you can do.

Thank you to everyone who helped sort the
"Stamp Out Hunger" USPS food drive donations
this past Saturday!
So grateful to each and every one of you!
Wonderful to see our members, Interact members,
Elderact members, high school students and
food pantry staffers
all working together as community members in action!

Breakfast Option Decision

The vote among those present and voting
was 8 to 2 in favor of the $10 breakfast beginning June 1.

We don't want to lose anyone based on the cost of breakfast,
so two options...

• There will be a lottery for three "$3 Beverage Only" spots -
Please have your request into Jessica at jdharbar@comcast.net
by this Friday - May 19 - by 5 p.m.
If your request is based on a medical need, please indicate this is the case in your email; requests based on medical need will be given first consideration and will be held as confidential.

• If any of these options pose a financial burden for you,
please email Jessica at jdharbar@comcast.net
or call her at  781.910.0202.
Let's see if we can customize a plan that will work for you.
Our conversation will be confidential.

We sincerely value everyone's membership and participation.
We recognize that many of us are still recovering
from the financial impact of the pandemic.
So, please do contact Jessica with any questions or concerns.
