Scuttlebutt 12/21/21     (Nice number)

This Tuesday we will have the pleasure of Joan Arsenault who will talk with us about the Ipswich River Rehab. I believe this will be a Global Grant that we may become a part of.  Joan is very active in our District having served us in many capacities.

Election Results:   There are no surprises on our next year’s leadership.  Jessica Barnett will be our President, Linda Doliber our President Elect, Tricia Sullivan our immediate Past President.  Lee Weed will be our Vice President, Don Doliber our Secretary.  Tim Shotmeyer will be our Treasurer and Becky Linhart our Assistant Treasurer.  Our two new Directors will be Lauren McCormack and Peter Cohen.  We still have open positions of Vice President elect and Assistant Secretary.  Please let me know in what capacity you want to join our leadership team.

Service:  Tuesday at 11:30 is a special COA lunch that many seniors attend.  Janice, from the COA indicated this will be a good time to announce and distribute our Ice Melt-Sand project.  Linda D requests one other member to be there to assist.  Thanks to Cindi and Linda for service work this week.

Remember we are collecting coats for folks in Lynn and our colleagues at the Lynn Neighborhood Network.  I have received coats from folks in my COA exercise classes.  You can leave your coat donations at the Charter after 3:30. Call Bob to let him know you have a donation.  Or if you let me know I can pick them up at your home.

This Tuesday will be our last meeting for this calendar year. We will not have a BOD meeting this Thursday.  What ever holiday you may celebrate or if you already have celebrated, please let us all wish for good friendship, kindness to one another, service to our community, and peace in our hearts and in our world.
