Scuttlebutt June 19th, 2022 Installation Day this Tuesday!!!!! Huge thanks to all who serviced on the Board this past year and to those members who will lead us in the coming year. Particularly thanks to Jessica who humbly wrote her own Instillation script.
And after our celebration on Tuesday, we all will go to our respective precinct voting places to select who will lead our town, our school board, and our other important offices including cemetery commission and the ballot questions.
The Allocation Committee met this past Tuesday to suggest the organizations that we will financially support, and they then presented to the Board their deliberations. Becky created a table indicating our recent past and current allocations. The Board voted to approve the allocation list. This will be shared on Tuesday at the beginning of our meeting.
POPS planning is proceeding. The date has been set December 10 th. As of now, Covid willing, the event will be at Abbot Hall with some modifications from our typical affair. The Artist’s Reception will be in the evening of November 10 th at the UUCM on Mugford St.
We had a recent presentation from folks supporting the Lynn Shelter. They had two asks: 1. There is a desperate need for diapers size 4 and 5. Please bring to the meeting on Tuesday. 2. Please support the fundraising concert on Saturday, June 25, 7:00pm - 10:00pm at the Marblehead Veterans Middle School Performing Arts Center, performing will be the Chad Hollister Band, along with the Deb Larkin and Jeff Stout Jazz Quartet, and SONETA SREY.
