Thanking Jessica for supplying
 tasty sweet bites, a special cake, and delicious fruit
last Tuesday.

Appreciating Amy for bringing sweet
bites and fruit this Tuesday!
Jessica will be perking coffee, and the carafe which she
purchased for the club's use for boiling water
will be ready for tea.
 Have you volunteered yet to bring food? It can be simple
and does not have to be expensive or home baked.

Please see the front table sign-up sheet and
help fill in the blanks. Thank you!

NEW MEMBER-GENERATED DRAFT OF OUR
UPDATED MISSION STATEMENT

"As members of the Marblehead Harbor Rotary, we
focus primarily on local community needs and opportunities through "Service Above Self." Accomplishing more together than we can individually, we also strive to connect and lend support regionally, nationally, and internationally by cooperating with new and well-established humanitarian programs, which are important to the health and well-being of people around the world."

RE-WORKED MEETING SCHEDULE

There appears to be a consensus that 7:30 a.m. meeting start time may be a bit too early for a number of our members. In an attempt to address that, beginning this week, we will be going to a slightly later trial meeting schedule:

7:30 - 8:00 Registration, breakfast and fellowship;
8:00 - 8:25 Meeting start and Speaker plus questions;
8:25-8:30 Brief announcements;
    Adjourn at 8:30 as often as
possible to accommodate members
who have business or medical commitments.

Next Pops Committee Meeting

Monday May 13, 4:30 p.m., Barnett's home,
217 Humphrey St.

Thank you to all who have helped us make important and exciting progress and decisions this early in the process!

THIS WEEK'S SPEAKER: Our guest speaker will be Judy Salisbury who will update us on the Marblehead Food Pantry, the numbers of people and families the pantry is helping, what is needed now and the importance of the May 11 "Stamp Out Hunger" postal food drive.

Please sign up if you haven't already done so, to help sort food drive items on Saturday May 11.  Select a time slot at our Tuesday morning meeting or send an email to Jessica at jdharbar@comcast.net.  Sign-up for any length of time that works for you.  Invite family and friends to join you at this important service opportunity!
