Scuttlebutt June 27, 2021

As we begin a new year, actually on July 1^st, 2021 let us all renew our commitment to our Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor. We are such a tremendous organization. With such wonderful members.  Judy Dunlop who was a guest at the Instillation mentioned how impressed she was by the strong connection we all had to each other and the feeling of family we all expressed.

Thanks to the Instillation committee for putting on such a wonderful event and to Jess for being mistress of ceremony. And to the nominations committee for providing with us a slate for the Board who were installed.  And special thanks to Judith Green for being the extraordinary fundraiser.  Thanks to Yamila and Nick from the Lynn Neighborhood Network for providing us with a great description of their organization! We raised a lot of money to support the refrigerator for the Lynn Neighborhood Network.  Please get your investments in this project to Becky. 

The Allocations Committee has met to discuss what organizations will receive our donations.  They will present their report on Tuesday. 

Diane B and I have met as we begin our POPS 2021 organization.  We will call a meeting of the full committee this week.  

Foundations Committee is busy getting out our District grant so we can purchase the refrigerator.  Heidi is busy organizing Seaglass Village, and Joan on the Guatemala hearing project. How great that our club is so involved in supporting these wonderful organizations.

Please think about what club committees you would like to be on this year.  Every member should consider being on 2-3 committees.  I would like our committees to be fully determined by the end of July.
