Happy New Year to all of us. Nice to see 2021 as the date. Hopefully for all of us, our families, and friends we will be healthy and safe in this coming year. And we will get the vaccine soon!
We have a great speaker, Adjoa Acquaahon, Tuesday who will update us on the Ghana project. Thanks to our speakers committee who continue to do a notable job.
Good news from our Holiday POPS Reinvented 2020 committee. Although we have not yet finalized the account our net fundraising is well over $22,000. Thanks to all who contributed in the many ways we all support our club and our community.
Another good news. Jody Martin has completed her therapy. She and Lenny are thankful to all the members of the club who provided meals to them during the past few months.
Thanks to Judith Black who organized our Lifebridge New Year’s Eve contribution. And to the many who cooked and drove.
Sad news. Luis’s sister Fatima died a few hours after she felt unwell and was taken to the emergency room. From Luis: It's hard to lose a sibling, harder when it's the baby sister. She had great memories from her trip to America and very much enjoyed the Club's hospitality during a summer trip. I'm glad she enjoyed life as she did, and that even in illness she did not lose her determination and sense of humor.
