This Tuesday's Breakfast Meeting
September 3
Special Guest Speaker -
Our Own Patricia E. Sullivan, DPT, PhD
who will "Get Us Moving"
in a program based on
her wildly popular and effective sessions
at the COA.
Experience the magic of Tricia's expertise!
There are actually several "new year" milestones each year -
the traditional January 1st, the first day of spring, September's "Back to School," Rosh Hashanah and others.
Each "new year" gives us an opportunity to make new resolutions.
Tricia will give us the chance to make a new commitment to our own well-being during the "Back-to-School New Year."
There's nothing stressful and you'll be surprised how easy and fulfilling this is.
As you know and as Amazon.com tells us...
Tricia has been a physical therapist for 50 years. Thirty of those years included international work in 20 countries teaching workshops, conducting PhD seminars, assisting the development of graduate programs, supervising research, and improving curricula. They also included conducting group exercise programs for elderly, and one-on-one treatments for children and adults with a variety of conditions. Her travel experiences range from riding on an elephant’s back in the jungles of Thailand, enjoying a desert dinner in a rugged tent in Bahrain, and trekking in the Himalayas in Nepal.
Dr. Sullivan has held faculty appointments nationally at Northwestern and Boston Universities, the MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston and Harvard Medical School. International appointments include Curtin University in Perth, Australia; The National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan; Mahidol University in Bangkok, Thailand; and Kathmandu University in Dhulikhel, Nepal. She has co-written four physical therapy textbooks and her newest book about her international experiences published this year, Boston, Bangkok. Bombay & Beyond: The Journeys of a Physical Therapist.
