International Project Support
At last Thursday's Board Meeting
it was voted to contribute $500 to
District 7930's Rotaplast Mission to Cebu, Philippines this March.

This mission's goal is to surgically correct Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate for children, possibly performing 150 surgeries or more.

Our support will make a real difference in the lives of children restoring their dignity, and giving them the ability to smile, swallow, eat, breathe and speak more normally.

All medical equipment and supplies are shipped with the team and will be funded by private donations and our district’s Rotary Clubs.
Each District 7930 club has been asked to help provide funding.
Typically all the volunteers going to Cebu pay their own way.

You can still volunteer on this mission as there are a few positions available.
You do not have to have medical training to participate.

The mission departs from Boston to San Francisco on March 8 and returns to San Francisco on March 23.  You must travel with the group on this portion of the trip so that the equipment boxes can be counted as your second piece of luggage. This is done as a group booking through Rotaplast and will cost approximately $1,200.

For more information on the mission and other ways to donate,
contact Mission Chair, Terry Rezendes Curran at terrycurran7930@gmail.com.
