The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor needs your nominations for the Paul Harris Award. Any member of the club may suggest someone to be considered, as long as the nomination form is received by next Tuesday, May 14th 2019.
The Award recognizes Club Members and Community Members.
“A number of fellowships have been presented to members of RCOMH as a special way of acknowledging their continuing service, club involvement, and that special willingness to answer the call, keeping the club strong, healthy and meeting its mission. This could be a member who has taken on a high visibility role(s) (e.g. an Officer, chair of a major event, chair of a successful fundraising activity, etc.) or a member who consistently works behind the scenes.”
The Club has also “presented fellowships to individuals in the community for special recognition of their dedication to Marblehead and for their Involvement in living the principles of the “Four Way Test.”
Club members are invited to click this link to download the nomination form and a brief synopsis of the nomination and selection process.
The Paul Harris Selection will take place at Lee Weed’s residence, 33 Intrepid Circle (1st floor) on Monday, 20 May 2019 at 7 pm. PLEASE RSVP to Don Doliber. This meeting is open to Paul Harris Fellows only.

MAY 11 FOOD DRIVE - TWO TIME SLOTS LEFT!

Thank you RCoMH members for your commitment to community service! There are only two time slots left for food drive sorting: Noon to 1:30 p.m. and 3 to 4:30 p.m. If you have not yet signed up for a slot, please check your calendars to see if either of these will fit into your schedule. As you know, the Marblehead Food Pantry relies on this Post Office “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive to stock the shelves through the summer - a vulnerable time because the schools are closed and do not offer breakfast and lunch for the children. Plus, the volunteers enjoy being together for this event. Reminder - Linda Doliber is offering a $50 donation in your name to the Rotary Foundation if you find an expired food item that is older than her current record holder. Please contact Jessica Barnett at 781-639-0624 or at jdharbar@comcast.net if you can fill one of the time slots. “Service Above Self.” See you on Saturday, May 11, at the Masonic Building’s outdoor lower level.

Time: 11:30AM – 2:00PM
Who: As many volunteers as we can bring. Dress for outdoor work and bring work gloves. Need more info? Click here to contact Service Chair Rosaleen Doherty.
