~Reminder~
Marblehead Food Pantry still needs our help!
There is still a genuine need to provide items
for the pantry.
As you can, please consider bringing items to our Tuesday meeting.
The shelves really are empty.
This is one way we can serve our community and
help make things better.
In addition to shopping at
your own favorite grocery store, consider finding good values at Family Dollar Store on Canal Street in Salem across the way from Crosby's Market.

November is Rotary Foundation Month!
A truly important way
to serve, give and benefit!
Rotary’s Foundation is literally the lifeblood and muscle of the vital programs carried out by 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. November is Foundation month, and Rotarians are asked to continue donating and possibly increase their donations to the Foundation which helps Rotarians build schools, provide medical supplies, small business startups in impoverished areas, clean water and sanitation facilities…the list goes on. And, of course, continued Foundation donations to Polio Plus will ensure that scourge is eliminated once and for all.
Monies contributed this year will be invested for three years, and in three years 50% of District, club, and personal donations from this year will be returned to this district to fund Global and District Grants (like our newly approved benches and shade trees grant), as well as support for international scholars.
Awarded the coveted 4 Stars by Charity Navigator yet again this year, the Rotary Foundation is respected around the world. Recently, a Canadian Foundation supporter was asked “Why would you donate to the Rotary Foundation?” Knowing the scope of the Foundation’s effective humanitarian efforts, he replied, “Why wouldn’t you donate?!” Great response, Sir, and something for us all to think about!
