UPDATED MISSION STATEMENT
"As members of the Marblehead Harbor Rotary, we
focus primarily on local community needs and opportunities through "Service Above Self." Accomplishing more together than we can individually, we also strive to connect and lend support regionally, nationally, and internationally by cooperating with new and well-established humanitarian programs, which are important to the health and well-being of people around the world."

This Tuesday, we'll be welcoming Past President
Becky Linhart who will be updating members on the

ALLOCATIONS COMMITTEE...
It's that time of year when we decide on the charitable and philanthropic organizations that will receive funds which we have set aside from the proceeds of Holiday Pops. All RCoMH members in good standing are welcome to nominate non-political and non-religious service and non-profit organizations to receive donations from our club.
This year's Allocations Committee will include members who are interested in serving plus Jessica, Patricia, and Vince.
Members who would like to serve on Allocations should contact Jessica at jdharbar@comcast.net before 5/16/24, even if you think you have already committed verbally.
What are the responsibilities of committee members?...
*Review the prior year's recipients list and all newly suggested recipients. Plus, vet the newly nominated recipient organizations according to our mission statement and Rotary standards.
*Perform due diligence on the background, governance, efficacy and good standing of each of the newly nominated organizations under consideration.
*Commit to as many as four or more meetings, typically held on Zoom on Thursday afternoons/evenings at 4:30 p.m. for one hour.
*Be fair and objective in consideration of worthy organizations and the amount of money to be given to each entity.
