Thank you Patricia Sullivan...Club President 2020-22

Patricia Sullivan, left in this photo, served as our club president for two years in a row - definitely "Service Above Self" given the many challenges of COVID. The only other person to have served back-to-back presidential terms in our club was Fraffie Welch. In addition to finishing her second presidential term on June 30th, that day was Patricia's last official day of Physical Therapy practice, a 55- year career of PT life that she credits with defining who she is.  Tricia has been a clinician at Mass General Hospital and, in her private practice, a teacher and researcher at Boston University and later at the MGH Institute of Health Professions, and a teacher and consultant at 4 international universities and in 20 countries. She has provided hope, comfort and even healing through her work which has embraced newborns to geriatrics. For six years she worked in Nepal collaborating with the faculty and clinicians at Kathmandu University and its Dhulikhel Hospital along with the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor and Dhulikhel Rotary and her Rehab Nepal Foundation to shepherd a Rotary Global Grant which brought physical therapy to rural areas of Nepal where victims of the 2015 earthquakes had no rehab services. Patricia, thank you for your "Service Above Self" on so many levels and for all you have done to inspire us through your own example of the power of "Dream. Imagine. Believe."
