POPS TICKET SALES
Poster design by Jessica Barnett

We are looking to foster ticket sales for the two-night Pops On The Move!
Club President Kathleen Murphy says that “thanks to Karyn Lang, Shubies has agreed to let us have a table on Friday, December 6 from 11:30am - 2:00pm to sell event tickets and raffle tickets. This is a very busy time period on Friday according to the owner and a good opportunity for us to get in front of a lot of people who could be interested in attending the event or potentially becoming a member.
Also, the club’s Facebook page has Pops! posts and event links. Please share the information on Holiday Pops on your own Facebook page by clicking the share button from the post on the Clubs Facebook page.

RAFFLE TICKETS ON SALE

The Pops On the Move Father Christmas created by Roy Brindamour will be raffled at the holiday party at the Hooper Mansion on December 14th.
Raffle tickets are available at the Arnould Gallery, from Diane Barbour, and during the Pops on the Move shows.
Brindamour is an accomplished artist and has made winter Holiday and Father Christmas figures for many years. Each is made entirely by the artist, as he molds the faces and hands, constructs the figure and accessories, and sows each costume.

CLUB ELECTION

The RCOMH is seeking candidates for President and other Board positions. Please see Club President Kathleen Murphy or Secretary John Williams if you wish to be a candidate.
Luis Ribas has informed the Board we will not be able to be president next year due to the heavier workload he expects in an election year.

FOOD PANTRY SEEKS LAST MINUTE HELP

A plea from Judith Salisbury of the Marblehead Food Pantry has reached our club: “The Food Pantry is short of volunteers for our Thanksgiving Food Distribution on Tuesday, November 26th.
We are seeking two people to help inside in the distribution room from 8:45am to 12:00pm or at least until 10:30am when things slow down.
We could also use one person in the evening to work inside and outside from 4:45 to 7:00 that can assist in carrying client bags and Turkeys.
I realize this is very short notice but if you know of anyone who could help, please let me know. We will be located in the Star of the Sea Parish Center First Floor Conference Room.”
HAPPY DOLLARS FOR FOOD
Kathleen Murphy reports that “152 food boxes were donated from Stop N Shop and delivered to the food pantry storage room by a group of club volunteers last Tuesday.  Stop N Shop also provided a gift card to help cover some of the cost of purchasing 100+/- aluminum roasting pans.  After the gift card was applied we still have a deficit of just under $550 so Happy Dollars and Fines collected at tomorrow's meeting will be donated for this cause (go Lenny go!!)."

The 2020 Polar Plunge to End Polio is on for Saturday, February 29, 2020 (snow day March 14th). Our legendary polar plunger champ Rob Deiana will go for it again, but please don’t let him go in all by himself.
District Polio Chair Sheryl Meehan says, “we can't wait to celebrate our 10th Anniversary with a BIG goal. As you may have heard we're hoping to reach $1 MILLION in cash gifts by June 30th and we're so close! We're asking you to help us end polio by giving you a few options to participate:
1) Register today to participate in the 2020 Polar Plunge, a Rotary District 7930 tradition since 2009! Click to register as a Plunger. Text “endpolio” to 71777 to register via mobile device.
2) Register today as a Virtual Plunger...no jumping into the water for you, just fundraising. Click to register as a Virtual Plunger.

And importantly...

YES! Your cash donations and fundraising will earn Paul Harris Credit;
YES! You can invite your friends, family, and non-Rotarians (in high school or older) to plunge with you! and...
