AWARDS NIGHT RECOGNIZES ROTARY SERVICE

RCoMH Non-Profit of the Year Award

Club President Kathleen Murphy accepts the award

Ed Bell, Man of the Year

Don Doliber, Volunteer of the Year

Take a minute to congratulate yourself. As club president Kathleen Murphy said at the MHD Chamber of Commerce Awards Ceremony, the award conferred on the club recognizes the selfless work of current and past membership and its impact in the community.
Indeed, Rotary service was celebrated at the Marblehead awards last week. Our club was chosen as the Non-Profit Organization of the Year, an award shared with the lunch club. We also received a Certificate of Recognition from the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Ed Bell was the recipient of the Rey Moulton Person of the Year Award, and Don Doliber was recognized with the Frank Regan Community Service Award. Service above self is no motto. It's what we do.

They will soon hold the online auction of a donated Afghan, and continue to work on projects such as, to mention only a few, a cookbook (almost ready, looking for sponsors), providing fleece blankets to the Appalachian Project, and Ditty bags for Guatemala.
